Clifton Community Heath Service

The Clifton Community Health Service (CCHS) is a unique community owned service offering a medical practice, hospital, residential age care, affordable independent living, home, and community care services for the people of Clifton and surrounds. We offer holistic care and support for all members of the community.

We have operated since 1949 when the Clifton Hospital Coop was formed, and we have operated on the current site at Norman Street since 1979. Unlike many rural hospitals that have transitioned over time to the delivery of age care services, CCHS has maintained its broader objective of supporting the whole communities health and wellbeing.
